The best experiences for your trip in Mallorca Senses Hotels
Enjoy our selection of proposals in Mallorca Senses Hotels
If there's a way to enjoy Mallorca's scenery and exercise at the same time, hiking offers that opportunity. The mild climate will allow us to enjoy the routes that cross valleys, mountains or plains, since the orographic variety allows us to choose the itinerary that adapts more to our physical and mental form.
The island has an extensive network of trails and paths, several of which are very close to Mallorca Senses Hotels.
Most of the itineraries run through the heart of the “Serra de Tramuntana" (declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010), which runs from Andratx to Formentor and crosses cliffs, mountains and torrents.
Here are some of the most emblematic routes of Mallorca:
Start: San Telmo (20 km from MSH)
End: La Trapa
Travel Time: 4 Hours
Description: This excursion will take us along a spectacular path by the sea, where we will be able to appreciate the work done by the Trappist monks who transformed this arid terrain into a paradise. We will arrive at the Cap Fabioler viewpoint, with unbeatable views to see the island of Dragonera and where you can also enjoy some of the best sunsets in the Mediterranean.
Puig Galatzó (Pico Galatzó)
Start: Galilee (20km from MSH)
Travel Time: 5 Hours
Description: Puig Galatzó (1026 metres high) is the most magical mountain on Mallorca and the highest in the south of the island. It is isolated from the rest of the peaks of the Tramuntana mountain range, during prehistoric times it was a sacred mountain, later bewitched by Muslims and cursed since the 17th century. This route we propose is circular.
Galilea - Son Martí
Start: Galilea (20km from MSH)
Travel Time: 5 Hours
Description This route we propose is only suitable for those who carry adventure in their veins. Throughout this excursion you will find caves and walls of water. This is an excursion with significant levels of unevenness that will put the most accustomed sportsmen and women to the test.
